Protect Teddington – Say NO to Sewage in the Thames

Teddington was once named the most desirable place to live in London by the Sunday Times - a beautiful, thriving community nestled on the banks of the Thames.

Now it faces a devastating threat.

On Tuesday 29th July at The Wharf Restaurant in Teddington, join concerned residents, environmentalists, community leaders and the press at a critical public meeting to oppose Thames Water’s plan to dump 75 million litres of treated sewage every day into the river at Teddington Lock.

This stretch of the Thames isn’t just picturesque - it’s one of London’s most beloved areas for water sports, wildlife, and family recreation. The proposed discharge contains chemicals and micro-pollutants that would be banned in Europe - with unknown consequences for our health, ecosystems, and local wildlife.

If this plan goes ahead, Teddington could go from affluent suburb to effluent suburb.

We need your voice. We need your signature. We need your support.
