Summer Sounds by the Thames
There area few places more beautiful to spend a summer’s day than by the river.
As the Thames sparkles in the sunshine and boats drift gently past our terrace, The Wharf becomes the perfect setting to slow down, savour exceptional food and enjoy the very best that the season has to offer.
Our summer menu is a celebration of modern European cuisine, inspired by the finest seasonal ingredients and crafted with simplicity, elegance and flavour at its heart. From magnificent Fruits de Mer platters and native oysters to succulent Cornish lobster, beautifully fresh fish and premium British meats, every dish reflects our passion for quality and provenance.
We’re immensely proud to work with outstanding British producers and local suppliers who share our commitment to exceptional ingredients. Their dedication allows our chefs to create dishes that are both refined and deeply rooted in the seasons, perfectly complemented by an award-winning wine list, expertly crafted cocktails and warm, attentive service.
Summer Sounds by the Thames
17th & 18th July
Summer is as much about atmosphere as it is about great food, and this July we’re bringing a little of the Balearics to Teddington. Join us on Friday 17th July as Beatzokina provides the soundtrack to a perfect summer evening with laid-back Ibiza-inspired beats on our riverside terrace. Expect chilled Balearic rhythms, soulful house and sunset grooves. This is the kind of music that invites you to linger a little longer over another glass of rosé, another cocktail or one last plate to share as the sun begins to set over the Thames.
Saturday 18th July welcomes our fabulous evening of Jazz, Funk and Soul
Spend a summer evening by the river with an outstanding line-up of live music at The Wharf, as two exceptional acts bring the very best of jazz, funk, soul and rhythm & blues to Teddington.
7pm - Emrys Baird & The Soul Immigrants
Charismatic singer and guitarist Emrys Baird brings his soulful summer sound to The Wharf alongside The Soul Immigrants. Expect laid-back interpretations of jazz, funk, reggae and ska classics, providing the perfect soundtrack to an evening of great food, drinks and riverside views.
9pm - The Cosimo Matassa Project
Taking inspiration from the legendary New Orleans recording studios of Cosimo Matassa, The Project recreate the rich rhythm & blues sounds that defined the late 1940s and early 1950s. Led by pianist and arranger Al "Dente" Dunn (Loudon Wainwright III, Richard Thompson) and singer and double bassist Dai Price (Dai & The Ramblers), the band regularly features some of London's finest session musicians, whose credits include Allen Toussaint, Van Morrison and James Hunter.
Whether you're joining us for a long lunch, an intimate dinner, after-work drinks or simply to enjoy the atmosphere by the water, there's nowhere quite like The Wharf in the summer.
We look forward to welcoming you
Best wishes,
The Wharf Team
